Wow! Where to start?
I remember being very proud the day we came back from Rupert, and my first ever Guide Entry was on the front page!
I was thrilled to become an ACE, and later a Community Artist.
I've made many friends here from all over the world, and am very proud to count some of them as my dearest friends.
My "Greatest Hit" though, was meeting the man who was to become my husband here. He often says that the friendly atmosphere here made him comfortable enough to post ... a thing he'd never done on any website before. It also gave us a chance to gradually become friends ... the best way to get to know someone! Having a virtual engagement party that lasted over a year, and having so many people on h2g2 be a part of our happiness is priceless. I'll always be grateful to this site for changing my life ... for the much, much, MUCH better!

I've never actually met anyone in real life who I've known on h2g2 (not that I know of). But I do know what you mean about it being more comfortable to post here more than anywhere else. There is a "cosiness" about the place that almost makes you want to open up to the community and tell them your lifes story...almost

Yes! 
I Have international email pen pals now 
Have you found romance, a partner or even got married because of life on h2g2?
Made husband a bit jealous of the site at moments
Have you been a shoulder to cry on and helped a fellow Researcher to work through their problems?
Started De Myelin Nation with Terri & Yoda, Moose. It has attracted new researchers to h2g2, opened some like myself up to talking about chronic illness and problems. A889194
Have you learned something new?
Lots! The computer was all new so sorta learned it here.
Also learned my experiences could be somewhat helpful to others,if only knowing they are not alone in having similar ones.
Are you more interesting because of h2g2?
Doubt it to others ,but to myself! I am more interested in posting. Never interested in that before. Also have more varied & interesting people to talk to here. The hubby asks me every day what did u learn on h2g2 today?
