`Have you made some really good friends on h2g2?'
... nope. Not really. I've persuaded one of my good friends to join h2g2, though, which is completly irrelevent.
`Have you found romance, a partner or even got married because of life on h2g2?'
Not as far as I know.
`Have you been a shoulder to cry on and helped a fellow Researcher to work through their problems?'
Nope, I save that for e-mail and RL.
`Have you learned something new?'
Yes, an appreciation of the English language. The Sub-editing scheme helped me with that. Before I joined it, I didn't realise just how important the placement of apostrophes is
`Are you more interesting because of h2g2?'
h2g2 gives me another thing to drop into conversations, so yeah, I suppose I am.
`Have you been inspired to do something special as a result of time spent on site?'
Nope.
`Have you made some big life decisions because of h2g2?'
With h2g2's help, yes. @ the community.
`Have you written an entry that you're really proud of?'
Nope. I haven't written any Edited Entries . I've Sub-edited a few that I'm proud of, though.
`Have you broken up a fight, and spread your peace vibes everywhere?'
Yep. h2g2 taught me what I call `community training'. The lessons that I've learned here - especially those from my time as an ACE - have helped me in RL and other online places.
Finally, my proudest, finest moment on h2g2... hmm...
Falling through the floor of the Starpilot Hotel Space Station - the action that sparked my h2g2 roleplaying days. After that, the temporal paradox. Finally, the description of that huge shiny ship thing...
If anyone else knows what I'm talking about, I'll be really surprised.
