Particulary refreshing experience if one falls into it and is stuck for hours on end. Such a situation is not pleasing to one's employers or one's nagging spouse. Rescue workers are advised that victim may struggle and burrow further into the hole. Counseling may be advisable to help the victim realize that there is not such a thing as justice or vacation. Construction workers do not try to escape into potholes.

Being a construction worker has its good and bad points. One of the bad points is that you lose your attraction to potholes.
