Hello, I am the weapons expert of The Evil Army of H2G2. I recently built an intergalactic mobile attack base...and I need something powerful to add some punch...something that will blow a hole in heavy armor...either a few capital ship weapons or a lot of fighter class weapons will work...anything fit that discription?

For use against ships with ehavy armor we have:
~Asgard Scanner (or Death) Ray cannons: like a matter transporter, converts molocules to energy, but does not re-assemble them, it instead loops the energy back into the system to help power it
~Imperial/Republic Heavy Turbolasers: fires bolts of plasma, two per second. Their tonnage per blast is 200 megatons of directed energy. They come in dual barrel and quad barrel versions. The dual barrel version tracks faster, and the quad barrel version kills faster.
~Imperial/Republic Ion Cannon: fires a bolt of energy that drains energy from shields and shuts down advanced technology without damage. In less advanced technology, it melts circuits
~Moleclear cutter: Must be used by an organic vessel, it fires a sweeping beam of energy that cuts moleclear bonds between compounds without fail. Blasts against targets on the surface of a planet ussually yeild a minumim of 100 gigatons
~Vorlon Lightning Gun: Must be used by an organic vessel, ir fires a lighting-looking beam that tears molocules appart. Armor can do little to stop it, the blast is incredibly powerful, ranging upwards from 100 gigatons
~Vorlon Death Ray: must be used by organic vessel, fires a sweaping beam of energy with the same effects as the moleclear cutters
~Earth Force Super Particle Beam Cannon: Fires a massive particle beam that can destroy large islands (like Greenland). The beams effect's in atmosphere are more powerful than in space because the friction of the particle beam against the air causes it to convert into high energy plasma
~Earth Force PPG: Fires a blast of plasma that melts through its target until its containment fails, causing the remander of the plasma to explode violently outwards
~Minbari Neutron Cutter: fires a beam of nuetrons that batters moleclear bonds appart. The beam's effects lessen with the density and depth of the material it is targeting
~Centauri Ion Cannon (or duel array): Fires a blast of plasma that melts through a certain amount of armor before its containment fails, causing the remander to explode violently outwards
~Narn Battle Laser: Fires a beam of energy that melts and cuts through its target. Approcimate tonnage: 10 gigatons
~Goa'uld Blast Lances: fires bolts of plasma like turbolasers that are approximately 200 megatons in yeild
Those are amungst the best of the anti-capital ship technologies available. if you also need anti-fighter technologies, I can provide them as well.

I'm thinking about a Earth Force Super Particle Beam Cannon and several Imperial/Republic Heavy Turbolasers...what do you have in the area of anti-fighter...?

we have:
Earth Force PPG Gattling Guns: fires bolts of plasma at about 2000 shots per minute.
Imperial/Republic Quad Laser Cannons: fires dual bolts of plasma at a variable rate from 500 to 2000 shots per minute
Republic Compound laser Turret: fires a sweeping plasma beam that can easily track and destroy moving targets
The Divine Order's Dual Energy Net Launchers: fires two energy "nets" at a time that vaporize their target, they are very accurate
Centauri Ion Accelerators: Can kill fighters and missiles as easily as they kill capital ships
Shadow Moleclear Cutter: kills fighters as easily as it kills capital ships
Vree Anti-matter Burst Cannon Bank: works most effeciently with a Vree quantom singularity reactor, it is a non-moving cluster of between 15 ad 21 magnetic accelerators that fire bolts of anti-matter at 99psl. 1 bolt can easily destroy a fighter, and the general apperence of the cannon when firing is of an energy "shower". Works best with fast and manuverable craft

all right. Let me do the math here
1000 PPG gatling guns, at 1,000 a peice is: 1,000,000
1 Super Particle Beam Cannon is: 50,000
50 Turbolasers at 10,000 is 10,000,000

Either you got a number there wrong or you multiplied wrong...because 50 Turbolasers at 10,000 is 500,000...which would make the total 1,550,000...right?

thank you for finding the error in my math, it has never been my strong suit. Lets see. Republic Credits to gold bars. How heavy is each bar?

5 LB...you know what...I'll just go and get some of the our EAUC (Evil Army Unified Curency)...it's backed by a supply of gold bars...it's only worth half of a republic credit so that would be 3,100,000 EAUC...

I was wondering but what do you suggest for me? I am setting up a planet so I need some ships for me to use to protect it. What do you suggest?

well, Golan defense platforms are always good. with planatary shield generators, and perhaps some Planet Defender Ion Canons (like the one on Hoth) or Planet Defender Turbolasers (the ship killing version of the cannon on Hoth). Of course a home defense fleet is great for any planet, because they have manuverability and can re-enforce any weak points of the planetary defense network.
Fast Capital ships: Shadow Battlecrabs, Centauri Vorchan Cruisers, Lancer anti-fighter Frigates, Carrak light Cruisers
Heavy Battleships: SSDs, ISD/ISD mkIIs, VSDs, Vorlon Dreadnoughts.
the fast capital ships are great for delaying the enemy (except the Battlecrabs, they are good for killing everything in sight ) and the heavy battle ships are best for slaying the enemy not only as they approach the planet, but also for descimating any ground troops from orbit if they should slip through

Other than the Shadow Battlecrabs, the Vorlon Dreadnoughts, and 19 SSDs, these have been taken care of by the Fleet Arm of H&HW
Shadow Battlecrabs = 10 million * 20 = 200 million
Vorlon Dreadnoughts = 15 million * 20 = 300 million
SSDs = 30 trillion * 19 = 570 trillion
total = 570,000,500,000,000 Imperial Credits
