Hi Bels,
Being a crossword junkie, I have found the following both helpful and distracting
http://www.rhymezone.com/
<< Type in a word to find its rhymes, synonyms, definitions, and more: >>
http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/advanced.html
A very fast and thorough anagram finder
http://www.acronymfinder.com/
Does what it says on the lid

I found this site (and added it to my *favourites* folder) ages ago but haven't used it much since

A great German/English dictionary
In case you fail to find something there, you can search the forums&archives at
http://www.leo.org/cgi-bin/dict/forum/forum.cgi
and in case it isn't covered there, you might open a new forum thread. Looks like quite a few professional translators are active there at any time.

Yes, it's coming on very nicely. I'll be doing some more work on it soon, putting in a Contents section with A links etc.
Then I'll have to think about promoting it a bit more.

Not at all, six7s. This will be an excellent addition to the collection.
Mind you, I was slightly disappointed that it didn't mention 'screeched' as the longest monosyllabic English word.
