I came to this article from the link from the site of the day <./>Islam - An Introduction</.> (and then the conversation on Islam and Medicine)
I found this informative and well thought out though a trifle long - I appreciate that some subjects can't be adequately dealt with in a few paragraphs.
The only thing that annoyed me in my reading , was the spelling and grammatical errors. I realise this is still in peer review but could you not run it through a spell checker?

I feel my first comment wasn't very fair - I'm new to this criticism lark, and have just read some hints on peer review that suggest grammar tidying can be left to editors.
I learnt a lot from your article. Possibly it could be fruitfully split into smaller linked articles - there certainly is scope for a whole article on Islam and dress.
I could do with an article on useful naming of things re Islam, being pig-ignorant (except what I've picked up in passing from your article) on hadith and hijab etc.

Salaam (means peace fully written As-salaam alaikum which is may peace be upon you, the reply is va-alaikum salaam which means and may peace be upon you)
I Know what you mean about being long but leaving it short with out explanation means people start asking questions and when I answer them there like well put it in the entry, and splitting it up means every one reading on the subject would have to keep cross refrencing with other entrys which is a hassle. Though I do know what you mean.
Any way I have started you of with how to say hi basically to a Muslim.
To explain words for you.
Hadith - group of books with the words, sayings and actions of the profit with a integretry basis on who and how many people witnessed it.
Hijab - The scarf Muslim women wear to cover there hair and bosums.
Hiqab - a piece of fabric tied around the Hijab to cover the face leaving a slit to see through.
Burqa - Is a Hijab and Hiqab and top that extends down to the ankles.
Hope that helps. Any more questions just ask or e mail me at [email protected]
Thanks for taking interest.
Allah hafiz (may Gods blessing be with you)
Adib - My name joke. sorry getting you back for the first post.

Va-alaikum salaam.
Thanks for the feedback.
I'd given up on a reply to this, so I had to go via your home space. Do you find the home space entry mentioning your opposition to evolution a good way to start conversations? I consider it quite controversial, but won't follow up on it until I've researched the massive conversations pro and anti already on h2g2. I've had my fill of promoting evolution to sceptics.

Well I don't like to discuss it because both parties for and against creation are not open to seeing things from the other persons perspective. leading to a pointless argument that neither side can win and scientificly for now at least we can't prove either idea right.

"both parties are not open to seeing things from the other persons perspective" - that strikes a chord!
Good luck with all the Islam entries.
