They will probably say something like "Have you heard about that Osgood Fielding? He's written a piece about us for the BBC... and you know all about that BBC don't you." 
Right now, I think this entry is a bit thin, but it could be a very interesting and unusual entry for the EG with some deeper insights into the world of 'that' 
Take for instance, a couple of songs which have just surfaced from the dark recesses of my memory - 'Gimme That Thing' by The Pipkins, and 'Dat' by Pluto Shervington. Plenty of scope for analysis there

I agree with Gosho on this one, Osgood.
You could also include some Ayurvedic thinking on this as well, as in:
'I am that; you are that; all this is that'.

I agree. It's a nice idea, but it would be even better if it was widened and/or deepened somewhat.

Thanks for the feedback - very helpful. I've taken the advice and deepened the explanation. Now it even cuts into Gary Barlow territory. Would be very grateful for any thoughts.

Very well rescued - it's an excellent entry, that.
I'll keep a note of this for the Underguide, since that Edited guide doesn't want it.
Is it a British thing to use that in that way?
