And lovely photos they are I think there's a page of his photos on the official site of the London Eye...
my favourite is the one at sunset - sky strewn red and the Eye capsules sillhoetted against the background... just lovely

Great article .
One small spelling mistake - in 'I, Eye' you have 'a almost' instead of 'an almost'.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Great entry!
My only worry is that with (what I perceive to be) the difficulties in changing entries once they're accepted into the guide, the prices section will become less and less relevant as the years pass...
I know you've marked them as the prices this year, but when (as it surely deserves to do) this is accepted into the Edited Guide and stays there, that section will be a little redundant for the reader in January 2006. Of course, you have linked to the Eye's own website - which as you say gives price details.
Obviously it's your choice, but might I suggest two options? Firstly, if you could find it, you could list the prices in the year of opening, which would be a much better bit of historical detail - or secondly, remove that section from the Edited Guide entry but if you're keen, you could keep a relatively up-to-date price list in the unedited guide, and maybe link to it from your own space, and if permitted signpost this in the Edited Guide entry. I'm still quite new around here, though, so I hope that makes sense.

...and obviously, I should have noticed the thread went on to a second page and if I'd done that I'd have realised it had been picked up for the Guide as it deserves!
Well done!
