Wow! Haven't even told anyone about it yet or finished it and it's already got someone interested
YAY!!!
Course you can be oh lovely
(you seen the film, I wonder if they all blink at the same time too, like a schlup schlup noise?)

Yay!!!
Thunk!
Hmmm. White, Red border. Not as accurate as I'd like. Could do with a little practice. Not had the RL bow out since summer! Here's not so bad, just a little warming up to do.
Thunk!
That's a bit better. Comfortably inside the red, although not bullseye yet....

Cool, you have an RL bow?
I've had a go with a bow in a summer camp when I was 13.
Anywho, elven archers can see and aim perfectly so no probs there

I have an RL bow, yes. Not a particularly good one, and the sights are missing, but I tend to shoot by instinct anyway. Seems to work.
I've also had a go at camp a couple of times. The first time I was only just starting, and it was more like a class than a competition. The second time, it was a bit of a class then a competition. As by then I'd had 2 years practice with the longbow in my back-garden, with a proper target to aim at (the bags of compost we use at home are okay, up to the point where they fall to bits!), I found that actually I was better than I thought, so I've been keeping it up ever since. I won the competition, but the others had no experience, so it wasn't a fair test.
I know. Elves don't feel hot or cold either - and I don't - so that helps too!

My Dad is a 6ft 3 ins, 26-stone bloke who throws temper-tantrums. My mum is a 5ft 7ins, 17-stone woman who also has a temper and shouts a lot.
Both have more in common with Orcs really...
I'll zip over to the other thread. for a bit
