Ah well yes I am a Joni Mitchell fan too -- though I hadn't heard "Clouds" called "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" before. . . is that the album name?

It's cloud illusions I recall, I really don't know clouds at all

Eine Kleine Nach Musik - A Little Night Music is the play the song is taken from - and the writer is not coming into my head right now.....smiley - tit Ah well, maybe next year.

I just did a google for "A Little Light Music" and came up with Stephen Sondheim, 1973. The hit song in that was "Send in the Clowns". The song "Both Sides, Now" was written and sung by Joni Mitchell on her 1969 album "Clouds".

Obviously the two are confused in my head - to the extent that I still can't seperate them. I can remember the chorous to Clouds, but the verses become Send in the Clowns.

They say the mind goes first......

Hi Recumbentman,

Nice entry there! smiley - smiley

You can link to A155837 and you should rewrite the two or three 'I's in the entry and the footnotes. Otherwise (again) a nice one and almost finished.

smiley - cheers

There is a little confusion here. A Little Light Music was indeed written by Stephen Sondheim. But Eine Kleine Nachmusik – A Little Night Music was written by Mozart. Only one letter different.

Thank you so much, Sir Bossel! I was so intoxicated with revelation that I really hadn't noticed myself straying into the first person singular! Fixed now. I'll have a look at A155837 and see where it fits. smiley - rainbow

Good old google assures me that Sondheim's one was also A Little Night Music.
