The 'B' wards which include the High Dependency Unit are the furthest from the kitchen and they are the ones that usually need their meals delivered

DEATH TO RAILTRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't get home till 3am this morning
I left Stafford at 7.30pm and there was a signal fault at Bletchley, we got not a lot of info out of the train manager so myself and another irrate passanger went to see WTF was going on, I wanted to know what was happening as it looked like I was going to miss the last train home the other guy was miffed about no information, the train manager didn't like walking throught the train when there was a problem 'cos people shout abuse at him (DUH you work for Virgin Trains you should be used to it), the result of the ensuing argument was 2 more announcments, 3 apologies, promises of a lift home for anyone who missed a connection and the reopening of the buffet. We rolled into Euston at 00.10 (my train left an hour earlier), I had to queue for a courtesy Taxi form and queue for said taxi, I got indoors at 3am this morning, BUT every cloud has a silver lining I had to share my taxi to Portsmouth with 3 Scouse Sailors Damn!!!!! what a shame.
I Never want to travel on Virgin Trains again, the signaling problem wasn't their fault but they are the most unhelpfull to the point of rudeness people I have ever met.
Can we go to Chessington next year PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE

I had a similarly hellish journey. It started okay, walked from Towers to campsite, packed tent up in record time, and got bus to Henley ten minutes later. At Henley, I couldn't figure our which bus from the 100s there would take me to Stoke, so decided to walk. It was further than I expected though and took an hour, stopping halfway through to give up and wait for a bus, only it didn't come for 20 mins so I gave up giving up and carried on walking.
Coach from Stoke took me to Stafford where I waited two hours for a train which was late. Train was full of drunk man u fans so had to stand in corridor, as the train took 4 hours (2 hours late) to get to Euston, arriving at 1.30am. Joined a massively long queue for a free taxi, taking another hour and a half, and got home 3.30am.
Have to say though, staff at Euston station were very friendly and organised - cheerful and helpful despite the early hours of morning and hoards of angry drunks.
Good weekend though

Those journeys sound hellish. And they wonder why people don't use public transport more?! I make no excuses for going by car!
Anyway, AT'03 was great fun imo. Not sure about Chessington personally. Haven't been there for a while, but both that and Thorpe Park seemed much more kiddie-orientated, whereas AT is good fun for adults (and more centrally situated, as there are always plenty of London-centric meets that get organised).
We just need a smiley now.

I've just realised there's now an smiley - about time!
Well, me, Holly and Corinne got the bus to Hanley around 11.30, then made our way to the coaches. Mine came at 1.30, which gave me an hour in Crewe before the 15.04. Got to Haymarket around 18.30, then a bus to Tranent at about 19.00. I then went to my granny's for a nice cup of tea before my final bus at 20.40, which saw me stagger in the door around 20.50.
I am MOST DEFINITELY driving next year!

How about you and I make a pact then, we'll set the date for AT04 soon, then we have a solid target to aim for?
And no, the solid target isn't Camper Man..!
