h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*You enter a well-lit room. On the walls are various art prints and lists of military and civilian police hardware.

In one corner of the room there is a minibar. In another there is a computer terminal. The monitor is built into the wall, and surrounding it are a large number of post-it notes*

*Mystrunner slinks in, and looks around.*

[Mutter] What have we here...?

Home away from home, for the Anarchists, in case we're ejected from our hideaway. It's so secret, I haven't let on to the rest of the guys yet. I will do, now that someone's found it.

*A van pulls up, and various minions come out to help Craxus and Euan out of the van. They are rushed to a medical facility in the building*

*A paper aeroplane circles about outside and drifts to a stop against Euan's shoe*

*Euan, after some serious reconstructive surgery (will set off metal detector , bends down and picks up aeroplane*

*one one wing of the plane are written the words:

"What gives us the right to force our kind of freedom on everyone else?"*

*Scribbles the reply "Your kind of freedom is no freedom"*

*Throws it into the air, hoping it will get somewhere*

Craxus, I think we might have some company coming soon.

*A card falls out of the plane and onto the floor*

*Looks at card*

*looks at Craxus.*

Why do I get the feeling I'm talking to myself here. I suppose you get it too, just lapsed by 12 hours or so

It's probably a trap. If I'm not back in a few hours, I probably won't be coming back at all. If I'm lost, tell the others to bug out of the base with Daedalus - I may be forced to divulge the location of our hideout. Go someplace I don't know i.e. set up a new page or something - I'll find you if I have to.

*Closes the door behind him on the way out. A false wall comes down in front of the door, with an aging poster on it. To any casual, or even slightly persistant onlooker, it appears to be an ordinary wall. To hide it better, a truck is parked in front of it, blocking all vision of the door*

*Euan picks up a few items from the truck. He puts a handgun in a holster in the small of his back, and picks up a radio headset, which he hides under his hat, and a rucksac, containing some unknown items. Finally he swallows three small objects.*

[radio] OK so far.

*Returns to the "safe" house*

Interesting conversation I just had with one of our opponents.

*contemplative stare*

Are you going to enlighten us, or should we try to find out our selves? Or do you want us all to guess what went on?

Wow, I had no idea this place existed.

[Radio - from base]Well, Skullock, I had a philosophical chat with one of our enemies on the nature of freedom. I kind of bluffed my way through it, trying to create dissentions in the enemy, but I don't think it quite worked. Still, it was worth the try.

They know about here. Do we move or play dirty in the streets?
