Amazing what interjecting a bit of humor into an otherwise volatile debate can lead to. It forces one to look at things from a different perspective, and perchance to see things one may have missed when caught up in the heat of his or her particular brand of retoric.
Well written, provacative and enlightening to boot. A wonderful submission and thank you for it.

What a strange feeling seeing h2g2 set in a story like that -arguments, off topic diversions, avoided answers and the sense of knowing each other; a sort of underlying kinship despite differences. Yet for all that it doesn't look as if the post WWIII world will be much different. If left to the humans.
Really liked this. It puts points across about the Iraq war and humanity in a balanced, entertaining and so human way. Original too.
What, fmi, is EFC?

I guess EFC is 'Earth - Final Conflict', Gene Rodenberry's Star Trek precursor.
Either that, of Verc's crept in somehow, and it's Everton Football Club.

Yes, EFC is Earth Final Conflict - we were all fans at that time, though not as the series went on, sadly!
