I need a cup of tea.

My poor throat aches

For every drink you make

Every scone you bake

Every chocolate cake


Since you've been gone

I've been lost without your food's taste

I dream at night about your tray bakes.

I look around but can't these replace

My tea's so cold and I long for your food's warm embrace.


Oh can't you see

You need to cook my tea?

How my poor tummy aches

With every step I take.
