It's a Sign: Natal Garden, Invergordon

Editor's Note: In 1915, a ship called the HMS Natal was sunk at Invergordon, Scotland, when the ammunition stored on board exploded. 421 people lost their lives, including sailors and civilians – there was a film party going on at the time, with wives and children of the officers and other visitors aboard.

The upturned hull of the ship remained visible at low tide until 1970, when it was removed as a hazard to navigation. This garden is a memorial.
A sign about Natal Garden in Invergordon, with silver stylised birds.
