This is Shadow, our neighbour's ball python (Boa regia). Our neighbour is holding him. Shadow's really sweet and only eats once a month. He was pretty active, but he finally settled down for his photo. I didn't manage to capture his flickering tongue, but Shadow was nice and let me touch him.
