I have some friends who were Budapest last month. They're on their way to New Zealand now. I was there in 2004, with some of the same friends.

A popular place to go, and I wonder if the pickpockets are still a nuisance. Does the city still have those marvelous collections of shops underground at subway entrances?
My friends took a picture of the government buildings that was so fabulous I saved it and used it for my desktop.
I probably won't do that with this manhole cover (sorry), but in Budapest ordinary objects can be made to be lovely.
