I have several rain barrels. I take care to put those mosquito-discouraging bacterial donuts in them, but when I; in my backyard eating ripe mulberries right off the branches, mosquitos come after me. My neighbors have apparently not been using the donuts.

My father used to burn locust logs to heat the living room in the winter. Sometimes the fire would thaw out some sleeping mosquitoes. It was a nasty surprise to be sitting around the fire and realize that mosquitoes were biting me
