That is always a tricky thing with the insurance of things you built yourself.

Will Betty Boop cook for him?

Some of my neighbors worried that the turkey would dent the roof of my car, but that doesn't seem to have happened. The turkey seems to be shy; it hasn't returned.

Wild turkeys are wily. I don't know about them denting cars - but in flight they can be formidable. A flying one tore the side-view mirror off my brother-in-law's pickup...and just kept going.

Now, the small herd of yearling deer that got into the municipal parking lot one year did a job on the cars there - climbing over them with their sharp hooves... smiley - reindeer

I don't know why but I never thought of turkeys as flying animals. smiley - laugh

smiley - ok That's because the domestic ones are too fat to fly - that's the fault of turkey breeders. Turkeys were first bred in Mexico maybe 5000 years ago. The ones in the supermarket originally came from Mexico. They're not aerodynamically sound.

Meleagris gallopavo is definitely a flying breed, though. smiley - laugh

Fine. Let them fly. Can't stop 'em anyway. Apparently you can shoo them away by waving your arms around or brandishing an umbrella or broom. If they let me be, I will do likewise

They are less of a threat than swans, anyway. Swans are mean.
