I ty to compare plants and animals I see pictured in the Post with plants and animals I see around me. I'm trying to relate to the other person's puddle, and maybe inviting the other person to think about how puddles can differ form one place to another. smiley - smiley

I personally find it hard to decide whether I am changing the subject in a conversation or that the flow of conversation is just evolving in a different direction. On the other hand, I do understand what you are trying to tell.

Yes, that is what I think.

On the other hand, I tend to walk from puddle to puddle when wearing my waterproof hiking boots in real life, but I suppose most people would not want to have their metaphorical puddles trodden into.
