I like the way the triangular formation of the curlews in flight echoes the pile of cloud behind them.

From a distance, I'd guess those were seagulls.

Thanks everyone! Yes, it was a very pleasing picture, so I was glad to share it with h2g2 
I didn't know what the birds were until I checked the photo on my computer and saw the distinctive long beak of the one at the top My favourite is the one on the second left, flying almost upside down in the breeze
