This is not the only species of Juniper that can be used for the berries, or for landscape gardening, but it may be familiar to gardeners in Britain, The U.S., and many other places in the world. Add to this the likelihood that other species of Juniper will have similar growing methods and issues of care, and you may be able to use information from this entry for growing other species.

Thank you - interesting Entry
"If you don't have a cadre of helpful birds to plant your juniper for you, you may buy it from a garden center." - well put!
Can you say a bit more about Juniper's range to 30 degrees latitude? Does that include Scotland, say?
Good point about the rock gardens - a former neighbour of mine used to have a rock garden with a sprawling juniper in it, and it made a pleasing display

The 30 degrees latitude issue may be a misnomer, as altitude seems to determine viability. Yes, there are mountains at 30 latitude, and as long as it's high enough, it will be cold enough for juniper to grow.

Hi
I've just tweaked the entry to get the paragraphs shorter, and convey why it looks nice enough to be considered for growth by the home gardener.
