Yep. 'Venues' the world over. Also in time travel. 
Like movie candy, or ballpark hot dogs.
That's interesting, because a dancing place like this isn't what you'd find in the US at the same time.

Oh yes. It's obviously common (still today) to leave balls for a snack at the nearest Würstchenbude.
That's interesting. From what I gathered balls in Vienna at that time were not very different from what they are today.
