Well, the answer could be found by trying to enlarge the picture of Table 42 in the Mountain Inn, from the other pic in this edition, 'cos there's mountains there also.

Mind you, these could be different mountains.

I was trying to see the logo on your beer glass. This could be a major clue, because the Mountain Inn doesn't look British, but I couldn't enlarge the picture, my laptop started making funny whirring noises.

Actually, I think Table 42 and those mountains, and maybe also these mountains, could be in the Scottish Highlands, or even the Islands, Orkney or somewhere, and you're having really good weather.

Oh, wait, this quiz is called Guess The Forest. I got waylaid by mountains. Oh, erm, well I'm sticking with a Scottish forest.

Great photo - for me it is reminiscent of a painting of Alaska that Bob Ross painted in ‘The Joy of Painting’ A88002641 but I see it is half a litre of beer in the other photo A88002939 so I would guess the Alps
