How very fascinating! Tchaikovsky's slippers! There is something poignant about this image, the ghost of a daily ritual, the slippers placed by the bed, as if they're waiting for him to wake up and climb into them.
So, this is his room, as it was.
Now I'm wondering about what Tchaikovsky would have worn, like, what kind of jackets and shoes and things.
