Yes, the action shot shows how they could be mistaken for hummingbirds 
Great o see its tongue reaching for the nectar

I have a childhood memory of seeing a hummingbird hawk moth in the garden of my parent's house in Rugby, in the English Midlands. I was entranced by it but I didn't see any more until we started travelling in France. I still look out for them in France.
