Different art forms are combined in a single cohesive whole. That's gesamkunstwerk. A really neat concept, I think, and it was your lovely article that opened my eyes about it.
In general, the Baroque had its gestation in Rome, though in the field of opera, Florence has the edge.
This must have taken a lot of work to pull together, and I congratulate you.
