Cardinal Sin?

There actually used to be a Church official named Cardinal Sin. I'm sure he was as amused as anyone else.

Cardinals (the birds) are featured in the Lenox pattern "Winter Greetings." I doubt that they even know what Christmas is, let alone
feel like celebrating it. Nevertheless, they are pretty, and their red coloring helps make the pattern festive.

I love the freeze frame effect!

What an amazing achievement, to capture the motion of the wings as the Cardinal takes off. Capturing motion with a freeze frame. A seeming paradox, but the effect is very enchanting.

Lovely birdie film! smiley - kiss

If I were a bird, would I like cardinals?

Caiman raptor elk - Inside big box, thinking.

Nice shots. At first I imagined that the Cardinal was still stationary, while warming up its wings (like a helicopter getting up to speed) to prepare for takeoff.

Flying with a mitre seems cumbersome to me...

Anyway, sin is 60% of the word saint, isn't it?

That is true. Saints probably know something about sin in their early years. They are also not usually easy to live with, so some of their contemporaries probably consider them sinful. Which, given church corruption in some eras, is probably nopt inaccurate. (curate is part of inaccurate).
