It also mentioned that most men ran off, while women tended to sit on the edge before dropping, thus the higher survival rate of women, given that they have time for introspection while still being able to call the whole thing off.

I keep waiting for flying cars to be perfected. Doesn't happen. Instead they give us self-driving cars, which I doubt that anyone asked for.

They give us what they want to give us, not what we actually want!

self driving cars/airplanes etc are all just controlled by computer programs, so therefore can be "hacked/altered" by "other" programmers
a human behind the "driving" = only religion or money will alter the direction
