I see one car parked in front. Is the church still used for services, or is it more like a museum now?

I'm glad to hear that. It does remind me, though of the Nathaniel Hawthorne's story about a minister who had been pastor for so long that most of his parishioners were in the church graveyard. Then again, when your church has had many hundreds of years' worth of parishioners, chances are some of them will have been quite distinguished. Maybe their distinction could rub off on you?

My legacy, if I am to have one, will be the trees that I have planted. If no one chops them down, fifty years from now they will be in their prime.
