I have 2 ex hootoo friends, I've sent emails (I've no other contact) but no replies - I know they were unwell but NOT knowing how they are etc hurts as such (are they still with us ?)

I'm glad that you even have email addresses for your friends.

Friends within hootoo, only certain ones do I ask if they'd consent to email contact other than that in hootoo

PS! Mail contact might not be often, but it's good to know it's thereif something needs to be "talked" about without prying eyes on open threads

My ancestors did their best to get out of Yorkshire. They sailed from Liverpool to Nova Scotia. My branch of the family then left Nova Scotia for Massachusetts.

Of course, my family has had to leave town many times. For three hundred years, my paternal ancestors had to stay in Scotland because they were not welcome in England.

History has a lot to answer for and persecution against law abiding folk etc should have no place on this planet

The only time I go out of Yorkshire, is when I'm visiting a ex hootoo friend on't t'other side of the Pennines

She and I and her family are very close as such (not in distance)

My relatives serve Yorkshire pudding for Christmas dinner every year.
