Who doesn't love a good elephant picture? And they're in action! When you're done laughing, you notice how the black-and-white brings out their textures. Elephants are so cool.

I've missed another deadline haven't I? Unlike an elephant, a biker often forgets!

You have to show up and add expertise and artistic tone to the proceedings. Otherwise I natter on.

On a trip to (the) Chester Zoo last weekend I was trying to see a familiar place through different eyes. Black and White eyes.

Monochrome brought out the tones and textures of animals usually photographed for their beautiful colouring. Try it! That's a challenge!

Great photo indeed. The textures are superb.

It is excellent to see the baby there - I was at Chester Zoo a few weeks ago, and didn't see the baby, but it was fascinating watching the adult elephants finding their food.

That is a challenge to photograph colourful things and find tones and textures instead - I shall try that indeed, as it will be seeing familiar items through different eyes, as in the Create Challenge A87967426

Thanks Sasha,trying to see colours as tones of grey is an interesting activity. The torment I put myself through for the Post is never ending....a lovely day at the zoo with my daughter was a price worth paying!

It's hard not to appreciate elephants, whether in rel life, or in pictures.
