FWR:

Bob's done it again!

A perfectly normal street scene that most of us would ignore, becomes a great shot with a lovely perspective. The slope of the hill and the angles of the houses lead us into the scene.

The white van and the white house give nice contrast to the tree shadows.

DG:

I second those remarks. I love angles that tell us about the contours of where we're looking. This is the visual equivalent of prose description - it points us somewhere.

That is a fascinating image that rewards repeat viewing - a seemingly familiar scene, but with an unusual perspective only given away by the angles of the houses further into the image, contrasting with the vehicles near to the camera - excellent smiley - applausesmiley - biggrin

Caiman raptor elk - Inside big box, thinking.

Somebody ordered a traffic jam. Where shall I put it? Along the side of the road, so as not to disturb the flow of traffic.

When will Indiana Jones roll his big stone ball down this road?

Thanks for this photo.

You have so much company! Just in the U.S., there 76 million baby Boomers, all of them over 55 -- and therefore on the downhill slope of their lives.

Other things begin to seem more important. As the body descends, the spirit ascends, if you nourish it.

All those cars along the sides of the road? Those are actually all waiting for the light to change. Rush hour indeed!
