Capriccio Italien with a Disco Beat

The Pet Shop Boys song 'Left to my own devices' contains the line, 'In the back of my head I heard distant feet - Che Guevara and Debussy to a Disco Beat'. I can't compete with Chris Lowe in the keyboard department, but I do have fun playing classical music with backing tracks!

I was recently inspired to make a quick video featuring Chopin's Etude after listening to the tune while on hold on the telephone. That in turn inspired me to make some more quick videos using my camera and some video editing software. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky is one of my favourite composers, and I was pleased to discover an excerpt from his delightful 'Capriccio Italien' in my favourite keyboard music book. I find the piece especially pleasing because it gives me an excuse to use the Flugelhorn setting on my keyboard! Here it is for your enjoyment.
