A very toned a buff horse. probably all the mares and fillies chase after him. When you're such hot stuff, it's an indignity to let a clown ride you.

There was a witch in the picture. I removed her because she was insulting to the Wicca movement.

She was looking in the window. But you're right, I liked the horse's smug expression.

The horse is probably allergic to the petrified fig leaf he is wearing. I would be petrified too, if I were that fig leaf.

What I love about doing these cartoons is the way they actually function as an art appreciation symposium.

We really do appreciate art over here... Even if we don't like it.

In rowing (which is what I do), you can compete in Masters tournaments from the age of 27. I would not call that elderly.

Speaking of which: I think "elderly" is shifting over time. When my parents were young, someone over 50 was definitely getting old and someone over 80 was probably already dead. It probably is also linked to how you behave at a certain age. Geraniums are not very popular anymore (for sitting behind all day, after retirement), road trips are. Not that there is anything wrong with geraniums...

I read somewhere that the key to a long life is never acting your age.

It is just that some people are better actors than others.

That's always been true.

And sometimes, when a person acts stupid, it's not an act.
