As Dmitri knows over the last two months, we have been in the process of moving home. This has been hell on Earth. The stress of selling the building, waiting for the couple who put in the offer for the house to actually sign the missives. Then as they wanted entry into the house, a fortnight after taking it off the market, we had to pack up our possessions pronto and arrange for them to go into storage, with the emphasis on rage. We have been staying with a friend and that has been stressful as well because we didn't have a house to move into straight away but now we have. Stress point number four: our solicitors in Kilmarnock were fast but where we are now is the Highlands of Scotland and here things are done traditionally (slow in other words). We had been hoping to move in half way through October but no, it looks like being the third or fourth week. I would have killed myself ages ago but the excitement of not knowing what was coming next has staved off the expected heart attack instead. On the plus side, we have had to travel around the area and this has let to me sending Dmitri more photos than he can use in his lifetime,hence he now wants to kill himself (sorry ed.,and I know you were sick enough without all this added drama)

I'm glad you've got a place to move into, though, Paige. I was afraid you were going to have to spend the winter in a horse caravan.

I think his response has become more like, stop sending me all these pictures, don't you know I am sick and drowning in photos of the glens!
