Bright sunlight coming through the glass ceiling and the darker shadows at the base made a nice tonal gradient, lending itself to the spiral theme.

I just love this! It makes me feel like I'm standing at the bottom and looking up, and I almost get a crick in my neck.

There's no "almost" about it. I *do* get a crick in my neck.
The staircase seems to be sort of exterior to the floors that it connects. Maybe it's a small building, and they needed as much space as possible for the actual floors? What sort of building is it?

That is probably a very advanced hotel. Perhaps when I become a millionaire, I can stay there ( to count pennies)

Lovely spiral seashell stairway. Reminds me of a spiral and a sea shell, even though its a stairway. Or is it? Well, yes it is a stairway, but a very spirally seashell type stairway. To me. Sort of. Perhaps.
Beautiful as always, with the b/w. Strange, I just found a spirally seashell on the beach today before I saw this photo.
