I failed to water some plants today, because a family of geese was grazing so close to it. I don't want to disturb creatures who are engaged in eating or caring for their young. 
It's hard to share the Earth with other animals. Their needs can sometimes clash with ours. There's a corner of the trailer park called Goose Corner. When the geese are nesting there, it's a good idea not to get too close to them.

Sadly, I get the impression that the variety of wildlife is diminishing (apparently, hedgehogs might be extinct in Britain soon.)
On the other hand, some adaptable creatures are flourishing to the extent of being a nuisance (rats and town pigeons in the UK.)

There are certainly plenty of Canada Geese around in the UK.
Very pleasing to see youngsters, though, and these parents are very attentive! It was a lovely day for a family outing 
Reminded me of a 'walking bus', that the children are moving along from one place to another while the adults keep them on track!

Canada Geese seem to eat grass. I see them browsing on lawns and other grassy spots.
