Dmitri, there's a massive storm working its way from west to east. We were supposed to get up to a half inch of rain in one hour this morning. That didn't happen as forecast, but neither did the rain stop promptly at 1:00. It's now almost 4:00, and it's still raining steadily.

Or maybe the Clarion could become famous by having a network named after it: The Clarionnet. You could hire some clarinettists from your local high school to make a music video

Since the local university's paper is called the 'Clarion Call', I'd say the Clarionettes would be fitting.

We've had rain all day, too, and it's cold.

I was going to walk around outside, but went to an indoor shopping mall instead.

River levels are not high at all .

The beavers must be taking one of their infrequent vacations.

If their vacation is upstream, there may be flooding yet.

That, or someone was very thirsty.

2018 was the rainiest year on record for the U.S. 2019 has brought more rain, especially in the Missouri and Upper Mississippi Rivers.

If there's even one thirsty person in the country, I will be surprised.

I have none of that. Would black hole sheep wool do the job?

Of course it would. I don't know how much would be needed, though.

Given the nature of black holes, one towel should do the job, I think.
