If the scale is diatonic, I would recognize it if I heard it.
I would not bring such a carpet into my home, as I have a talent for getting rugs dirty before you can say Do Re Mi.

That would make a wonderful bed or scratching pad or emergency toilet in many a cat owners home.
Tip 1 Get a rug that matches the cat fur.
