A warm coat covered in mud

You know you've reached Birdwatching Level 2 when this happens... It was dry but cold in the RSPB Nature Reserve but the ground was extremely wet after the snow earlier in the week had melted. I got rather caked in mud but I didn't let it stop me from exploring the Reserve and watching the birds walking on the ice. I was pleased to see some different birds including the rare Bearded Tits even though I wasn't quick enough with my camera to take a photo of them.
