When I saw the subject line, I hoped against hope that it referred to Mary Poppins' efforts to turn Big Ben back by five minutes. (That's probably a spoiler, but I no longer care. 
Clock towers are precious, and should be preserved whenever possible. Remember, people, that digital time pieces are *not* as cool as Douglas Adams's contemporaries thought they were.
