I also think that Dmitri deserves to have his own channel on Youtube, unless he already has one, in which case I think the world is in trouble...

Plenty of Florence on Youtube. I am particularly fond of her version of the Queen of the Night Aria from 'The Magic Flute'.

There is also a Dmitri Gheorgheni channel.

I think the internet is safe, though: only eight subscribers. Every time I get a new one, I worry.

Her Queen of the Night aria is one of my favorites, too. For one thing, it is so devilishly hard to sing that only a fool would expect to nail it.

Your videos are perfectly safe, Dmitri, but I wish you would have more airborne fruit being thrown at axes or being guillotined.

I can't do guillotines, but we might manage a trebuchet come Thanksgiving. Hoggetts usually start flinging pumpkins about then.

You do need to realise one thing: the other videos that you see on a Youtube page when you aren't really interested in the one being offered? That's less of a devastating put-down than you imagine. You see, nobody else can see it, because the recommendations are individualised to the user's computer. The Post account, for example, was offered a link to the 'Live Stream Kitten Academy', because we are nice people who actually like cats.

I've never imagined that you were anything but nice. Which explains why I like to tease you. I also like to tease Amy Pawloski. You'll get sued top it if you aren't already .

The pumpkin trebuchet seems like a waste of good food, but our Park manager loves videos of those things. And, I have a hard time saying no to pumpkins. That's one of my weak points, and I hope the Fates will not make me pay for it

Pumpkin tossing doesn't really waste food, at least not here - Hoggetts get theirs from what's left out on the neighbours' fields after all the pumpkins have been sold. Otherwise, they become compost, anyway. Besides, the broken pumpkins are still good to eat, if you're a goat.
