I can just hear the disgruntled locals saying 'We're paying for these idiot policemen to wreck their vehicles'

I'm sure the fictitious townspeople would've been fictitiously grateful to the fictitious idiot policemen for fictitiously arresting such fictitiously violent fictitious villains

If the fictitious police officers have such a bent for sending their vehicles hurtling into bodies of water, then why not pay a little extra for pontoons or waterproofing? Surely it might be useful, on occasion, to be able to go through the water in pursuit of the nefarious element.

At least they arrested the culprits. Their colleagues just crashed their cars in vain. That should count for something. Only problem is, are there any cars left in the precinct to chase fresh criminals?

Fictitious piracy tales?
But sadly, (and very hypothetically), one of the fictitious cops (allegedly) has a fictitious phobia of fictitiously deep water! (and maybe imaginary ducks too).
The other, however, may or may not have once served in a fictitious allegedly Royal but totally made up navy.

One of our cats pats the dog on the head. Of course, the dog's half he size. <laugh. In the case of the other cat, he and the dog chase each other.
