Technology today.
Went to the café for lunch. The proprietor has been away for six weeks getting a new hip. She had the same surgeon (the brilliant Mr Omunbude) but at a different hospital and rather more physio than I qualified for.
Nowadays I only remember mine when going through an airport scan. At Manchester if the buzzer goes off they routinely ask if you have a hip replacement. the funny thing is that it doesn't always trigger the alarm
Do they turn the power off to save money?
