h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm already doing it wrong=it's coming up as separate convos.
I'm alternating between journeys and technology, so here's what went wrong today:
Charged my fit bit but can't get it to show the right time - moral, take it to Ireland with you!
Mistakenly used the short flush on the loo, so nothing got flushed down.
Knocked my arm against the loo door so my glucose sensor got knocked off.
Wrongly tuned the telly so that I got subtitles and the extra commentary they put in for the partially sighted. I've managed to delete the subtitles but am still plagued with unnecessary description.
Before I went on holiday I put my vacuum cleaner charger away and can't find it. I think I need to go back to the 1950s and start again.

Ah, my parents once turned on the audio description by mistake too, but they didn't realise it until much later (that is, when I visited and we watched something and I asked them about it): they just thought the programmes were supposed to be that way.

What did you do to rid them of it?

Pressed all the buttons on the remote until it stopped.
