Bluebottle

It was one of my son's classmate's birthdays and he was celebrating with a climbing party at an indoor climbing wall place we'd never been to before, and both my son and daughter were invited. So we all went along and when we were there, as it wasn't somewhere my children had been before or something they'd done, I took my camera and took photos.
Of course I checked that there were no signs against taking pictures and the staff had no objections, and I ensured I didn't get anyone else in the photos, only my own children. (In the past I've been to birthday parties where, when all the mothers were snapping away with their smart phones, they got angry when I took some photos of my own children, demanding to see the photos I had taken in case any of their children were in the background).
When we headed home my wife told me that the mother of the birthday boy had seen me taking photos and my wife has promised we'd send her copies of all the photos of her son climbing we'd taken. I didn't take any! I only took photos of my own children. You can't win no matter what you do…
