parkrun Progress

Post 1

Bluebottle

On Saturday morning I went to parkrun – this was my 203rd parkrun in total and 43rd of the year – I'm trying to get to 50 parkruns in a year so I can get my 'Gold level obsessive'. I was delighted to finish a minute quicker than last week, which I believe is not only because of the drier weather this week but also because I'm recovering from my ankle injury a few weeks ago (I fell down a rabbit hole and ended up in pain and not in Wonderland after all).

This journal entry is mainly for me so I can compare how I'm getting on to this time next year.

At present my parkrun progress is:

Club Membership:
Member of the parkrun 100 club
Member of the parkrun v25 club

Challenges Achieved:
Tourist (20+ different parkruns)
Quarter Cowell (25-49 different parkruns, I've run 34 courses. 100 Courses is a full Cowell)
Single-Ton (100-199 runs at the same parkrun)
Stopwatch Bingo (Had a finishing time ending with every number between 00 and 59)
NYD Double (Run two different parkruns on New Year's Day)
Groundhog Day (Run the same time to the second twice in a row)
Bronze Level Obsessive & Silver Level Obsessive (Bronze is 30-39 runs in a year, Silver 40-49 – I'm aiming for Gold which is 50+)
