It pains me to say it but poor Bradley Lowery, the 6 year old Sunderland supporter with untreatable neuroblastoma has died today.

It is good that so many treated him with respect and gave him the chance to fulfill some of his bucket list.

As some know I am no fan of football and all the baggage that goes with it but the support he has received from Sunderland, the England team and most especially Rio Ferdinand fills me with pride.

Rest easy Bradley. No more pain and suffering.

Your life was short but inspiring to many.
