Nearly there! I've now written 48560 words, so I should be able to finish tomorrow.
I put all my separate chapters into one big document, which makes it easier to add pieces where I think they need to be added.
But it has no pretensions to literary merit!

Well done, mvp! This is quite an achievement!
Do you have any deadlines for the completion of the work?
What happens next? I guess you keep editing and rearranging and having dreams about it. Like, all night, every night.
How does a writer know when to stop? Is there a point when you just know that the work is complete, a that's it! moment?

I think I just gave up on Dreaming in Stone in the end, because I got sick of changing things!

Hey by the way, I just finished reading it a few days ago !
I liked it, even though it's not my usual type of fiction.
I feel the beginning was a bit slow, but after that, it picked up speed a little, and was a really nice read.
After a bit you really start feeling for the characters.
Oh, how many times I wanted to slap Brian across the face.
